The engineer Ferdinand Porsche is largely at the origin of the KdF-Wagen (Beetle) who was to democratize the car in Germany, following his Porsche Type 12 prototype, but he also contributed to the war effort of his country, working on its derivatives (Kübelwagen, Schwimmwagen), as well as on the armored material (prototypes of Tiger 1 and 2, Maus etc.).
